Exam week can be difficult, so I want to give you some advice to help you avoid stress and get better marks in your exams. Planning your time, eating well and getting enough sleep are the three most important things you shouldn’t neglect if you want to perform at your peak. The first thing you should do is to get organized with a revision material. Plan how much time you have to revise each subject and make a revision timetable. Try to stick to your revision timetable to make sure you have enough time to do everything. Don’t leave your revision until the last minute. You will remember more if you revise the material several times, so look at your notes regularly. Also you should study the most difficult things first. Then you will have more time to revise them and you will remember them better. It is very important to take care of yourself when you are studying for your exams. Firstly, you should eat properly. A healthy diet will give you lots of energy. It should include fish, meat, cheese, brown bread and lots of vegetables and fruit. Secondly, you should get some exercise in the fresh air to keep your brain working well. You can play an active game outside or go for a walk or a jog in the park. Finally, remember to leave some time to relax. A good idea would be to listen to some quiet music or to go out with somebody whose company you enjoy. And here is the last but not the least tip: the best food for brain is sleep, so you’ll need a lot of sleep during exam times. When you are tired, it will be difficult for you to concentrate and learn, so go to bed early and have a good night’s sleep.
