Talk about a celebrity you admire. It can be an actor, a singer, a sportsman etc.  Include this information:

• who the celebrity that you admire is;
• what he/she looks like;
• what he/she does for a living;
• why you admire him/her.

The person I admire most is Audrey Hepburn, a famous British actress and humanitarian. I admire her for her beauty, personal qualities and talent.

Audrey Hepburn was born on May 4, 1929 in Brussels, Belgium. Her father was a rich English banker and her mother was a Dutch baroness. After her parents’ divorce, Audrey and her mother moved to London. In the English capital Audrey studied ballet, and then worked as a photo model and acted in films mainly in minor roles. She became a famous film star only after she had moved to the USA. In 1954 she got an Oscar for the film Roman Holidays. Another film in which she successfully starred was My Fair Lady. 

When the film My Fair Lady was released in 1963, the world immediately fell in love with the main heroine played by Audrey Hepburn. She was tall and slim with long dark hair and large green eyes. In her real life, Audrey also was charming and had stunning features. She looked fantastic in expensive clothes but she preferred casual clothes which stressed her natural beauty.

However, beauty was not Audrey’s only merit.  She was a complicated person whose character had many sides. To begin with, Audrey was a determined and hardworking person. She wanted to be the best and she invested a lot of time and effort to perfect her skill as an actress. In spite of her popularity, however, she was a shy person who disliked the crowds and noise of Hollywood parties. She was an extremely caring person, too. She said that she forgot her own problems when she was helping others. After she had retired, she worked for the United Nations Children’s Fund where she cared about sick and poor children of Africa and Latin America.

Until her death in 1993, Audrey remained a modest and sincere person: neither her worldwide fame nor her well-deserved success could harm her character.
